Founding Principal

Cliff Roberti represents corporations, trade associations and public-private partnerships before the United States Congress, the Administration, federal agencies and international regulatory bodies with a concentration on insurance, banking, housing and capital markets issues. He also advises clients on the legislative, regulatory, rulemaking and congressional investigative process.

Prior to his advocacy work, Mr. Roberti served as a senior staff member to three different Chairs of the House Financial Services Committee, including serving as the staff director for the Subcommittees on Housing and Insurance, Oversight and Investigations, and Financial Institutions. During his time on the Hill, Cliff guided the passage of the Terrorism Risk Insurance Program Reauthorization Act of 2015, the National Association of Registered Agents and Brokers Reform Act, Insurance Capital Standards Clarification Act, and the Business Risk Mitigation and Price Stabilization Act. He also led the congressional investigations into the collapse of MF Global Holdings Ltd., the LIBOR manipulation scandal and the Stanford Financial Ponzi Scheme.

Before working on Capitol Hill, Mr. Roberti was a fixed income trader and then a financial advisor specializing in corporate stock benefit programs for UBS Inc. where he helped manage over $1 billion in assets. Mr. Roberti received his B.S., with honors, in international finance from The Pennsylvania State University.
